My role was to produce all the illustrations of the patients. The image of patient will change randomly. I produced females and males in 6 different races and 4 ages. For each race and age, I had designed at least 3-6 kinds of eyes, noses, mouths, hairs, body shapes, clothes, and faces. Each part is separate so developers can put them into a database and generate different characters. My illustrations can be generated into over 10 millions characters.
The client wanted a clear cartoonish style. Because the illustrations are for medicinal purposes, it had to be realistic and focus on details. For example, the skin colour of 5 different races has to be reasonable.
